“GODZILLA VINYL ART” Ukiyo-e series Godzilla 1995 (Green) will be on sale at T-BASE Ikebukuro P’PARCO!!

The latest installment in the “GODZILLA VINYL ART” series, a collaboration between sofubi artists active in Japan and around the world, is the “Ukiyo-e Series”, featuring Burning Godzilla from “Godzilla vs. Destroyah”, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025.

Japanese sofubi artist FrogTree has created a Burning Godzilla with an Ukiyo-e twist. The design, which seems to have stepped out of a picture scroll, and the intricate coloring infused the Sofubi with a Japanese essence. It’s an arrangement that makes it seem as if you can hear Godzilla’s roar across the ages.

This Ukiyo-e Godzilla (Green) will be available at the T-BASE Ikebukuro P’PARCO store. It’s a powerful Sofubi figure measuring approximately 33cm tall (including the tail)!
