The body is made of white-colored abalone shell with raden decoration, the arms and face are made of red abalone shell with pure gold and silver lacquer. The zipper is made of pure gold leaf. The bottom is raden, made of black-lip pearl oyster shells.

[Raden] A traditional lacquer technique in which the shining parts of mother-of-pearl shells, such as abalone, turban shell, South Sea pearl, and Black-lip Pearl Oyster, are embedded into the material.
