GYAROMI’s Cthulhuoid Takumi Series are now available at T-BASE JAPAN Ginza!! The Four Symbols (Seiryuu, Byakko, Suzaku, Genbu) will be released by lottery!!

GYAROMI’s ever-popular piece Cthulhuoid wearing the Takumi decoration “Raden”, will appear at the T-BASE JAPAN Ginza Gallery.

The exhibition and lottery sale will be held there.

Its down jacket is Raden inlaid with aurora-colored abalone shells, and its skin is made of blue abalone shells and is foil-stamped with pure gold and platinum foil. The zipper is covered with platinum foil. Its pants are decorated with deep brown Urushi lacquer and a Raden inlay of Azure Dragon pattern. Sofubi collaborated with Japanese traditional crafts

These traditional artworks, decorated by Eriko Terashima of Akari Koubou, are works of “Raden” and “Foil Stamping”, which was born in Kanazawa.

“Raden” (sea shell inlay) is a traditional lacquer craft technique using thinned shiny parts of shells such as Abalone, Green Turban, and Mother of Pearl.

“Foil stamping” is a typical decoration technique used for Wajima and Kanazawa lacquerware. Pure gold, platinum, and other metals are spread thinly to 1/10,000 to 1.2/10,000 millimeters for use. 97% of the domestically produced gold leaf is made in Kanazawa.
